WHY THIS TOPIC?
This winter season we should be thinking of how we can use hypnosis to assist our immune systems in the
fight against Covid and influenza viruses. There is a field of research confirming that the immune system can
be modulated through hypnosis.
WHO WILL PRESENT WHAT?
his webinar will be conducted by our President Dr Annette Webb together with Dr Doris Brett, who is a well known teacher/trainer for the Victorian Branch of the Society. Dr Webb will address the research and the
science and practical applications of hypnotherapy related to the immune system while Dr Brett will cover
how practitioners craft scripts for their individual patients.
WHO ARE THE PRESENTERS?
Dr Webb is a psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and paediatric gastroenterologist and President of our
Society while working in private practice and in the Department of Gastroenterology Royal Melbourne
Hospital.
Dr Brett is a clinical psychologist and a psychotherapist who has been working with hypnosis for 48 years. She
has also worked extensively with hypnosis in the area of oncology and other medical illnesses. She is an expert
in the area of Eriksonian hypnotherapy as well as an accomplished novelist and poet.
This is a one-hour webinar, where, in keeping with our Webinar Protocol, questions posed in the chat section
will be addressed in the last 10 minutes
